Chase Your Dreams

Corporate companies, government offices, hospitals, factories, every other name that can be used to define a place of work can be grouped under a common term – “Burial Grounds”. Yes, they are the burial grounds which have desires, ambitions and emotions of millions buried deep under them. In case you are wondering what heck am I trying to convey, go further.

How many of us want to become writers, poets, dancers and yet sit before a lifeless computer monitor and type lines of codes? How many of us want to become entrepreneurs but get trashed by our clients who sits somewhere on the other side of the globe? How many doctors originally wanted to be artists but became one due to compulsion? Does this exist only in a few places? If you think so, you are wrong. 99% of people whom you meet didn't follow their passion. I bet 99% of those who read this are no different.

Having stated all these, is it worth it? Is compromising our dreams the only way to live in this world?  The answer is a clear “NO”. As I have stated in my previous post, we live this life only once. The bigger thought that haunts us is about what the society might think if I don’t have a car and I haven’t visited any other country. One thing to be noted is, no one can live your life for you. Don’t try to wear other’s shoes. Compromising your desires for what others think is the most stupid thing that one can come up with. Unfortunately many of us come under the most stupid category.

You may face difficulties, but don’t stop following your heart.  If money is your only motto and nothing else matters, you can continue whatever you do. But for others, if you won’t have a stable income if you want to pursue your dream, just do it over the weekends and try to keep on track so that when the time comes, you can strike hard. Believe in you. Nothing can stop you have faith in you.

The major reason for us not being happy is because we are not doing what we want. We do things just because we have to. Satisfy your wants before you expire.” Have to” stresses you out whereas “want to” pleasures you. Stop wearing others shoes. Live your life to fulfill your desires and not to fulfill others mouths. Their words mean nothing. We are not going to live for a thousand years. In the few years we have on this planet, try to get the most of what you want.
