Wounded Heart

My love is

Deeper than the pacific

Taller than the everest

Longer than the Nile

Larger than the Amazon

Sweeter than Honey

Faster than lightning

Louder than thunder

Yet,

My Love occupies the smallest place in your heart

         - voice of a torment soul

Chase Your Dreams

Corporate companies, government offices, hospitals, factories, every other name that can be used to define a place of work can be grouped under a common term – “Burial Grounds”. Yes, they are the burial grounds which have desires, ambitions and emotions of millions buried deep under them. In case you are wondering what heck am I trying to convey, go further.

How many of us want to become writers, poets, dancers and yet sit before a lifeless computer monitor and type lines of codes? How many of us want to become entrepreneurs but get trashed by our clients who sits somewhere on the other side of the globe? How many doctors originally wanted to be artists but became one due to compulsion? Does this exist only in a few places? If you think so, you are wrong. 99% of people whom you meet didn't follow their passion. I bet 99% of those who read this are no different.

Having stated all these, is it worth it? Is compromising our dreams the only way to live in this world?  The answer is a clear “NO”. As I have stated in my previous post, we live this life only once. The bigger thought that haunts us is about what the society might think if I don’t have a car and I haven’t visited any other country. One thing to be noted is, no one can live your life for you. Don’t try to wear other’s shoes. Compromising your desires for what others think is the most stupid thing that one can come up with. Unfortunately many of us come under the most stupid category.

You may face difficulties, but don’t stop following your heart.  If money is your only motto and nothing else matters, you can continue whatever you do. But for others, if you won’t have a stable income if you want to pursue your dream, just do it over the weekends and try to keep on track so that when the time comes, you can strike hard. Believe in you. Nothing can stop you have faith in you.

The major reason for us not being happy is because we are not doing what we want. We do things just because we have to. Satisfy your wants before you expire.” Have to” stresses you out whereas “want to” pleasures you. Stop wearing others shoes. Live your life to fulfill your desires and not to fulfill others mouths. Their words mean nothing. We are not going to live for a thousand years. In the few years we have on this planet, try to get the most of what you want.

Suicide : Suicidal Thoughts & Suicide Prevention

Suicide – Fool’s weapon to demolish everything that he/she has earned so far in life at the cost of happiness of their loved ones. This definition of suicide from my heart, though simple has a deep meaning buried in it. If you think what you spend for committing suicide is just the money you use for buying those stupid equipment, then you are probably wrong. If you have come to this decision, then you are certainly blind. But I’ll try to throw some light on the cost which sums the happiness that your loved ones have, care, love and affection they have on you. Looks costly. Isn’t it? Well it certainly is several times costlier than your thoughts.

I’ve encountered several such incidents in my friend circle off late that made me pen down this post to shed out my feelings. If you are one among those cowards, read further. If you aren’t one among them, still go ahead and convey these if you find one.

Suicidal thoughts and Suicide prevention

If you want to die since you are a loser, here’s what you have won so far. Take my case. I’m not a celebrity or a sportsman or a scientist. I’m just an ordinary guy who loves to live. You know my greatest achievement? I’ve won 8147 times. Do you think it isn’t good a reason to live. In case you are wondering how on earth I came with that number, it is the number of days since my birth. I have managed to defeat death 8147 times and woke up successfully on my bed for more than 22 years now. I’m confident of a few more thousands and I know you have also made a few thousands. A beggar or an orphan whom you see on road has a greater success figure than me and you. Do you still think you can’t beat me or a beggar on road? Come and run with me. If you think you have one loss worth dying, then I’ve shown you thousands worth living.

If you want to die since the love of your life has failed you, and made a decision to spend her life without you, then here is why you should rethink. This person may have this salty liquid flowing through her eyes for a few days and get along, but the man who sacrificed his desires by fulfilling yours is not going to take it easy. There will be another lady. Well the only creature on earth who will do anything to see you smile might not take this easy, or much worse, she might think your decision is good and may even try to follow you. Both of them about whom I’ve just spoke might not have come to movies with you, they might not have made you happy by playing with you in the beach after you went to college or might not have fought with you and made you feel for petty issues.

Aren’t those things the important things that they should’ve done? All they did was, gave money to watch the movie, and made sure that you get the best education; they made you feel happy rather than giving tears. There are several other things that they have done which might not be important for you. There will be others called friends with whom you might have spent the best moments of your life. Brothers, sisters, uncle, aunt, etc. If you feel like dying for one person who hurt you, think of the thousands who made you happy and will not be happy without you. If you have one person to die for, I’ve shown you thousands to live for.

Few others quote petty reasons for ending their life such as being scolded often by people. There are reasons for people to scold you or to be harsh at you.

·         If you’re getting it from your parents, then you are probably doing something out of the way. Analyze it.

·         If it is from your close friend, then you’ve done something quite that’ll make you pay. Give it your time.

·         Getting scolding from others? Is that even worth giving your time to feel for it? What have they done to you so far to make you spend your time? Nothing. Ignore it.

If you try to end your precious, onetime gift of life just because someone has scolded you then I don’t have words for you.

There might be ‘n’ number of reasons for you to end your life before your actual time comes. But what’s the hurry? I’m damn sure that you aren’t immortal and your time will come. Why can’t you wait till then?

One little experience on road

I have always wondered about the world and its amazing species. Everyone knows which is the most powerful species among the millions that coexist along with us. Of course it is our race, the human race. With its unlimited power and wide intelligence this race has managed to grow into a well civilized and rich society. That being said, the humans have also grown more cruel and self-centered over the past few centuries. Is Mother Teresa speaking these words? No, it’s the same Arun, who wanted to shed out these feelings to someone or something.

I’m not going to bore you with the details about this society and stuff that you already know. I happened to meet someone recently and this post is specifically for that person. If you want to know that person, I don’t even have a name. He’s a complete stranger. I just happened to meet him on road. I’ll narrate the incident that happened.

I had to write an exam before a few weeks and I prepared for it quite rigorously. I made it a point to plan everything prior to the day of test to make sure that I don’t get tensed on the day of exam. I also managed to plan it quite well. I was at the examination center and everything was going as planned. I gave the answers with high confidence and submitted the answers. The result will be displayed immediately as it is an online test. Once I submitted the answers, I was shocked to see the results. I failed in the exam. I couldn’t believe my eyes. How did I fail? I spent several days for the preparation and this seemed impossible. But I couldn’t do anything since it was over and I had to accept it.

After this disaster I had to ride back to office. I started my bike with several thoughts. I had several questions running in my mind and I was damn upset. When I was returning, something added fuel to the already burning fire of depression in me. My bike’s fuel tank dried out on the way back. I had to walk a distance of 2 kilometers to get the tank filled. I gave money to my friend the previous evening asking him to refill my bike. I believe you could imagine how this could’ve impacted me. After failing in the much awaited exam, I had to walk 2 kilometers with my bike around 11 AM in the morning just because my friend did a mistake by not filling the tank. I don’t have to give any specifics about the temperature in Chennai. I thought that this day is getting worse and might still get worse.

It was during this annoyed walk someone stopped by. I heard a voice “Hey brother, what happened? Has your vehicle run out of fuel?” This guy should be in his early forties. He was very lean and had a dark complexion. I just replied “yes” hesitantly and stopped for a second. I didn’t even want to talk to anyone for a few hours. I was about to start again. But this guy who stopped his TVS 50 for me asked if he could do something for me. I just wanted to insulate myself from any conversation and just told him that I’ll just walk the distance and I’ll manage. But he stopped me again and offered me petrol form his vehicle.

After thinking for a couple of seconds I agreed. I thought he might have some backup in his vehicle. But he removed the tube from his vehicle interrupting the fuel flow and filled a small bottle with petrol in it and gave me. I tried to stop him in the middle stating that just a small amount of fuel would be sufficient. But he didn’t stop until the small bottle was filled. I poured it into the tank and thanked him. I took out my purse to pay him. But he refused to accept the money. Let’s not talk about the money, he didn’t even accepted my “Thanks”. He just said “Thank the god who sent me here to help you”. I can tell from his looks that he wasn’t rich. He just drove a TVS 50. After telling this he just left with a smile.

After meeting this guy, I was out of the depression and my heart felt light. I always thought of how cruel the world has become and all the nonsense happening around me. I forgot the test. A man who fights for living his daily life had the time to stop and help. Several other also passed by the same road. People richer than him, richer than me. Well who cared? We don’t need money to help. People like him make the smaller portion of the society. But still they make the happiest living. Life would be much better and the world would be a better place to live if they form the major portion. I heard you. I’ll pause for now. I have tons to say about this world. I’ll continue blogging on this. But the next post would not be on this.

Mobiles : Blackberry Phones | Blackberry Z3 review

Hello felllas, This post is just what the title suggests. Well! Blackberry hasn't payed anything for me nor it's competitors. It's my own personal review of the product after using it for 45 days. I can describe this mobile in a word "Beast". Yes it is. Read through for a detailed review.

Power to you - not Vodafone

Yup it's power to you. I mean the battery power ;-) With it's 2500 mAh it can deliver excellent power along with quality performance. I'm not a great user of mobiles. I'm just an ordinary user and for this ordinary user, Blackberry Z3 is able to deliver power for a minimum of 36 hours when charged fully. It's certainly a great deal for me. One more notable thing is that, this phone comes as a single sealed unit. That means you can't remove the battery. The memory card and sim card slots are available in the right hand side of the mobile phone.

Say "Cheese "

Blackberry Z3 features a 5 MP primary camera. To be honest, the camera is not the best, but the flash is. The LED flash of this phone makes the best part of clicking pictures - of course we don't click anymore, just a touch would suffice. The pictures in this post were clicked in my Blackberry Z3 under very low light conditions. The picture quality is not bad and the flash is simply awesome. The phone also features a 1.1 MP secondary camera which can click decent selfies.

Interaction redefined

Many of our first smart phones were Android phones. This makes us stick around it. But the truth is the other operating systems are also good. Why do we always want to stick around with the majority? The BB 10 OS is just awesome and the interface is different(not complex). Many people insulate themselves from trying BB10 stating that it is complex to use. The truth is, it is not. Blackberry Z3 features a complete buttonless interface and is amazing. Blackberry hub is all you need for managing all your communications in one place.

Applified (Apps Amplified)

The Blackberry world has all the important apps necessary for an ordinary/business user. If you still want more, you can install Android APKs. Yup!! BB10 supports direct installation of .apk files in it, which means that we can have droid blood run in our BB veins. This has expanded the horizon of Blackberry users. The preloaded apps that come along with this phone would satisfy an average user like me. But now even I've started expanding my hoizons.

Performance

Few words on performace "No lags, no hiccups & super cool".

Value

What phone do you use? - I use a Blackberry

This answer will have a good effect on who asks the question - an eye-popping effect. Though the company didn't have a good fortune in the recent past, many don't know about it and Blackberry still is some great brand whose users are multi-million dollar business people. The truth is it deserves it. Blackberry is coming up again building it's fortunes. This is the best buy under the 15K price range in India if you look for a difference.

Review reviewed

This is just my personal review on the mobile. If you want to know the tech specs and get a much in-depth view, just click here. In my opinion, the Blackberry Z3 is the best buy for anyone who is looking for a change and also for business users who don't want to spend too much on a phone. This is the best buy under the 15K price range in India if you look for a difference.

Friendship : My Best Friends and Sisters

I'm not going to give you any friendship quotes or ideas to make friends. This post is just my expression of feelings towards my best friends whom I earned during my college days. The below photograph contains the images of my best buddies(girls) during our college days along with the smart Arun Sankar standing with them. This picture misses someone who is equally important and I shall write about her later.

The one standing to your extreme right is 'A'fsha. The extraordinary person who always fights with me - we are just like tom and jerry. Of course who plays tom and who plays Jerry differs often according to the situation. I like this idiot very much because she is damn open to me on whaterver I do. She tells me or yells me whatever she thinks on my actions. The comments will be fired openly on my face. I never had a choice to skip the wrath of her. But this attitude makes person very important to me.

The one who stands near Mr.Smart in blue is the tranquil person "Ramya". Her character is just the opposite of the person about whom I just discussed. Whenever I have a problem, I call this deep blue sea to shed out my feelings and emotions. If I do the same with Afsha, then I have to face the wrath of her. She has been a tree when I neeeded shade, a blanket when I shiverred and she can take any form when needed to make me feel better. Rams as we call her is one person whom I can't afford to miss in my life.

The person who has applied the so called creams and wearing a royal costume with jewellery just had her special occasion that transformed her from Miss. Raji Priyanga to Mrs. Raji Priyanga. She was my first close friend in college. Her character stands between the two that I've just wrote. But something is very special about her. I had this person for the last 6 years continuously where ever I go. We have been part of the same club, members of the same editorial board and working in the same organization. More than all these that I've mentinoed the trust that Raji has kept on me is priceless. She never lost trust on me and never turned her back against me on any occasion.

If you think these are the only things that I have to say about these girls, then you are absolutely wrong. I can write a book on each one of them. I love these idiots that much. However I missed one idiot Deepika. I'll write a separate post on her ;-)

I don't want to miss any of these 4 idiots in my life. But once they get married they can't stay in touch like how they are now. This has already happened with two and shortly will happen to the other two as well. But I can be certain that the love, affection and care that we share will never change. The distance may be greater between us and might also increase everyday, but I'm sure that we can be at each other's shoulders in a single call. I can't express all my feelings in one post as I stated earlier. So just consider this as the first and I shall write sequels when I find time. I'm sure that next time I won't miss Deepika.

Lunch Recipes : Easy Cooking | Egg Recipe (Muttai Kulambu Recipe) | Tamil Nadu Style

Hello Foodies, this post will be helpful for people who want to practice easy cooking and want to cook delicious egg curry in Indian style. I'm no chef, but I've been cooking for the past 8 months (bachelor fate). This cooking recipe will be different from the other egg curry recipes. But trust me it will be worth trying. As per the saying, "Practice makes a man perfect", I've experimented several times and I'm able to cook delicious egg curry during weekends. I'll share you my experience and give you the procedure to cook the best egg curry. By saying "best", it's again for bachelors like me and not for experienced hands ;-) Trust me, cooking is so good that it has become my best hobby. Let me start with the procedure now.

Ingredients

Cocunut - 1/2 cup (to grind)
Onion - 300 grams (150 g to grind & 150 g to cook)
Tomato - 150 grams
Mustard - 1 Table spoon
Sesame Oil - 3 Table spoons
Curry leaves - As per the requirement and your mindset
Egg curry powder (better to buy Aachi or Sakthi masala)
Chilli powder - As per taste requirement
Salt - As per taste requirement
Eggs - 5

Easy Cooking : How to cook Egg Curry

  • Grind the cocunut and onion along with a table spoon of chilli powder in your mixer grinder.
  • Make sure that the vessel you use for cooking is dry and place it on the stove. I use induction stove for cooking. But it will be great if you have a gas connection.
  • Now pour the sesame oil in the vessel and once the oil is hot enough, add mustard to it. It will be much safer if you use an armour(or just stay far ;-) ) to protect yourself from the boiling oil after you add mustard to it.
  • After this add some curry leaves and fry it for a few seconds.
  • Add the onion slices that you have cut and fry it until the onion slices turn to golden brown.
  • After you see this golden brown color, add the tomatoes that you have cut. Fry them along with the onions. Add some salt and the chilli powder while frying.
  • Now add water enough to make the contents of the vessel drown and add the cocunut - onion paste.
  • After this step, add the egg curry powder(2 - 3 Tbsp) and just sit back.Let the contents of the vessel boil for a while (around 10 to 15 mins).
  • Once you see the hot bubbles and you're able to smell the mix, just break the egg shells and just add it along with the contents of the vessel. (No need to boil it before adding)
  • Don't stir too much, you might end up breaking the yolk of the egg.
  • Now try tasting the curry. You might find that you are missing something. Don't worry. I feel the same everytime. This is just because I don't want to spoil the curry by adding salt and chilli powder much. So after this step, add salt, egg curry powder and chilli powder to fulfil your senses.
  • I warn you again, don't stir too much after you add eggs.

This recipe that I've described here, is how I cook egg curry. I know that people boil eggs and cut it into two before adding it to the curry . But this will be a different easy cooking technique to cook egg curry for easy lunch. I shall add photos to this post with each step in a few days, so that it will be easy for you to know how I cook egg curry.

Thanks for reading. Try this easy cooking recipe and let me know. I'll share some of my other cooking experiences and recipes in future so that it will be useful for people like me. :-)
